Kingdom United Church in Jesus Christ Launches with Joyful First Service

October 5, 2025 — Kingdom United Church in Jesus Christ (KUCJC) celebrated its official launch service today with a full house and a spirit of unity. Roughly 70 people gathered for praise and worship, followed by a launch luncheon where about 40 attendees enjoyed fellowship, stories, and next-step conversations about serving and small groups.

“We’re humbled and grateful,” said Pastor Kyle K. Houts. “From the first song to the final ‘amen,’ God’s presence was evident. Today wasn’t just a beginning—it was a confirmation that Jesus is building His church and inviting us to love and serve our neighbors together.”

The service featured congregational worship, a gospel-centered message from Pastor Henry Goodwin, and a time of prayer. Volunteers welcomed first-time guests and hosted the post-service luncheon to create space for new friendships and connection.

KUCJC is founded on five guiding principles—Multiracial Racial Reconciliation, Gospel-Centered Living, Knowing Jesus Personally, Loving Like Jesus, and Serving Like Jesus—and will continue to emphasize biblical teaching, authentic community, and practical service in the region.
